Catalan Pyrenees explorer

€1160 per person

The Catalan Pyrenees in Spain offer a stunning and untouched landscape, adorned with charming stone villages surrounding Romanesque churches. Our self-guided walking itinerary ensures a delightful experience, combining excellent routes through pristine mountains with welcoming accommodations. Along the way, you might spot short-toed and booted eagles soaring above, while griffon vultures, choughs, wild boar, chamois, and fire salamanders may also cross your path.

Explore one of the most picturesque regions in the Spanish Catalan Pyrenees. Despite being relatively unknown to outsiders, it showcases breathtaking scenery, charming villages, and rich cultural traditions. As you walk between villages, you’ll encounter two distinct landscapes: the majestic peaks of the Pyrenees with panoramic views of Puigmal to Mount Canigou, and the lush, wooded hills of Garrotxa leading to the Mediterranean. Along the way, savor the delectable Catalan food and wine, including delicious sausages, cured meats, fresh trout, and robust coastal plains wines.

Our self-guided walking route is well-marked and easy to follow with detailed notes. We firmly believe this is one of the finest areas in the Pyrenees for walking, offering spectacular mountain scenery, fantastic walks, superb accommodations, and delectable Catalan cuisine. Get ready for an unforgettable mountain adventure!

By relying solely on the trusted, third-party platform of Google, we offer a guarantee that your feedback is genuine and completely unbiased.
