€1210 per person

Montenegro warmly greets its visitors with a variety of activities, changing landscapes from salty Mediterranean shores to mighty peaks and it is a heavenly place for food lovers. Take a self-guided hiking trip to this amazing country and enjoy every minute of it at your own pace. The journey will start from Durmitor National Park, showing you the alpine outlook of the country. This great massif is gently surrounded by the Tara River Canyon – one of the deepest river gorges in the world and a popular place for water sports. The walking trails will lead you also to another national park – Biogradska Gora, which resembles an open-air botanical garden that gathers botanists from all over the world to explore its treasures. With no doubts, one of the highlight of the program will be the train ride to Podgorica where breathtaking views will leave you speechless. You will slowly dive into the cultural outlook of Montenegro where a lot of cultures left their marks – old trade roads, ancient churches, and military fortresses.  The hiking trails will take you to the top to observe the sparkling blue waters of the world-famous Bay of Kotor (UNESCO) as a reward for the hiking adventures till now. A memory for a life-time with this independent walking tour to Montenegro!

Upon arrival in Podgorica (and some time spent for sightseeing on your own there), you will be transferred to Cetinje which once was the capital of Montenegro. Our suggestion is to spend more time in Cetinje, rather than in Podgorica. A city walk will dive into the history and the lifestyle of the country. Your independent walking journey will pass through loamy forests and steep paths. After you reach the center of Kotor you can take a well-deserved rest enjoying the salty fresh air. Overnight in Kotor.
