Day 1. Arrival in Antalya
A private airport transfer from Antalya Airport will take you to the city of Antalya. The city has a rich history that traces back to the 3rd century BC. The King of Pergamon, Attalos II Philadelphus handpicked the location for the city and named it after himself. Take the time to explore the old city with its charming cobblestone streets, a Turkish bath, lively bars, and restaurants. Your overnight is in a charming boutique hotel.

Day 2. Tekirova - Ciralı (19km, 6hrs, +700m/-700m)
After a healthy breakfast, an organized transfer will take you to Tekirova which is the starting point of today’s section of the independent hiking route. The trail you will follow will take you from one secluded cove to the next as you advance towards Cirali admiring the imposing Mt. Olympos in the background. You will pass the curiously deserted chrome mine Maden Bay along the way. Reward yourself with a dip in the pool of your hotel in Cirali at the end of the day.
3
Day 3. Optional short treks and sightseeing in Cirali/Olympos (9-10km)
Today you can opt to have a relaxing day on the beach. We would suggest an active program though. After a relaxing morning where you can enjoy the beautiful beach of Cirali, we will transfer you up to the gushing springs of Ulupinar village. Here you will have the opportunity to eat a great lunch of mezze, fresh trout, and hot bread. You then trek, generally downhill, following the densely forested river until you climb to a fine viewpoint with visages to the heights of Mt Olympos, and the bay of Cirali, before you descend via the 'chimera' and natural phenomenon where gas seeps from the rock, leaving an eternal flame (the legendary fire breathing monster know as the Chimera was slain here by Bellephoron and Pegasus). You then descend to the plain of Ciralı and back to the hotel.

Day 4. Cirali - Adrasan (16km, 6hrs, +800m/-800m)
After a healthy breakfast, you follow the independent walking trail along the river and into the pristine forest around the ruins of the ancient city of Olympus. Continue ascending through the ancient city necropolis and alongside the curious red-barked Arbutus Andrachne, commonly known as Greek strawberry trees. Upon reaching the pass of Mt. Moses (Musa Dagi) you can choose to make a small detour and visit the ancient site of Phoenikos. Gradually descend following a playful stream to the stunningly beautiful Adrasan with its golden sand and citrus groves. This is where your next two overnights will be.
5
Day 5. Choice of 3 optional walks around Adrasan (8km/10km/11km)
You will have three options for a self-guided hiking route around the beautiful Adrasan. Decide based on your preferences, neither route will disappoint.
6
Day 6. Adrasan - Gelidonya - Melanippe (18km, 6hrs, +760m/-760m)
Today you will follow your independent walking itinerary through the magnificent intact peninsula of Gelidonya. The lighthouse you will visit today is one of the most photographed places in Lycia. Take the time to take pictures and contemplate the wonderful scenery. Continue walking around the cape and reach the gorgeous Melanippe cove, named after the mythical queen of the Amazons. An organized transfer will take you to the Beymelek Lagoon near Demre where your next overnight will be. Dinner tonight is included.
7
Day 7. Kapakli- Istlada- Simena - Kaleucagiz (9km, 3hrs, +150m/-275m)
This day is dedicated to some cultural tourism and history. Do not miss to visit the Church of St. Nicholas where the real historic figure that Santa Claus is based on was bishop in the 3rd Century AD. The neighboring site of Myra is also a fantastic heritage place to visit with its remarkably preserved Roman Theatre and many interesting Lycian tombs. If you have a more in depth interest, the Roman Harbour of Andriake with its Museum of Lycian Civilizations is definitely a must-see. It is located in the Granary built by the Roman emperor Hadrian. Once you are ready, an organized transfer will take you to the Kapakli village. From there, you will walk through the charming ancient heritage site of Istlada and be reunited with the beautiful Mediterranean Sea at the Kekova straits. Soon the Castle of Simena reveals its beautiful features making the last stages of today’s section of the self-guided hiking tour. Walking past ancient sarcophagi, you gradually descend to the amazingly picturesque village of Simena where you eventually take a boat ride to nearby Kaleucagiz (Ucagiz) for your last overnight.

Day 8. Departure (or extra night)
An organized transfer will pick you up at Ucagiz for Antalya Airport (based on your onward travel arrangements or extra nights). Ucagiz offers nice options to visit the nearby Sunken City (boat tour/sea kayak) etc. It is worth checking the possible options and maybe consider staying an extra day there.
