The Zugspitze round trek

€620 per person

The Zugspitze summit, with an altitude of 2.962 m, Germany’s highest mountains, is one of the best-known climbing destinations in the Alps and can be easily summited by cable car. This walking tour takes you around the Zugspitze and you will discover this mountain from every perspective possible. On top of that the route encompasses the most amazing walking destinations: sensational and breathtaking ravine-crossings, most impressive with their height and the sheer volume of water! Then through wild-romantic alpine pastures, past grazing cattle from alp to alp. We recommend a recuperating break over a typical Bavarian lunch‚ Brotzeit’. As a final highlight of the tour you glide up to the Zugspitze summit by cable car – an especially memorable experience, not to be missed!
Varied walking tour only requiring a good basic fitness level. You walk on well maintained walking trails and partly on forest paths. Higher gradients are managed mostly by transfers or cable car. Daily walking times are max. 5 hours.
